Open Access

Journal of Immersive Simulation and Learning in Digital Healthcare and Education (JISL) is an international open-access journal dedicated to advancing research on immersive simulation, digital healthcare education, XR-based learning environments, AI-supported training, and technology-enhanced educational innovation.

JISL follows the open-access publishing model. All published articles are freely available online to readers worldwide immediately upon publication. Readers are not charged to access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, in accordance with the journal’s copyright and licensing policy.

Article Publishing Charges

At present, JISL does not charge any Article Processing Charge (APC). Authors are currently able to submit and publish accepted articles without paying publication fees. This APC-free policy is intended to support the early development of the journal and to encourage high-quality submissions from researchers, educators, healthcare professionals, and scholars across diverse institutional and national contexts.

By providing free access to readers and currently waiving APCs for authors, JISL aims to promote the broad dissemination of research findings and support inclusive scholarly communication in the fields of immersive simulation, digital healthcare, and education.
